Upholstery Cleaning
At Sterling, we rely on steam cleaning in our five-step process to cleaning your upholstery. Similar to our carpet cleaning and vehicle cleaning services, we take our time to clean upholstery the right way, to breathe new life into your furniture, and increase its longevity.
Pre-Inspection
By starting off with a pre-inspection, we’re able to determine which products and methods to use on the material of your furniture. We are not a ‘one solution only’ service, and want to ensure the proper cleaning agents are used for specific types of materials.
Pre-Spray
A pre-spray is applied to the entire fabric to break down any trouble spots, stains, oils, etc.
Agitate
While the solution goes to work, we’ll scrub the furniture with a soft horse-haired brush to agitate the fibers and allow the solution to penetrate deeper into the material.
Steam Clean (Hot Water Extraction)
Once the pre-spray solution has had a chance to soak in, we use the power of steam cleaning to rinse it, and remove soil, water, and the cleaning solution.
Drying
Once your furniture has been fully cleaned, we will bring in an industrial air dryer to speed up the drying process. You’ll be able to sit on your freshly-cleaned furniture again in no time, sure to bring a sense of freshness and cleanliness into any room in your house, office, etc.
