Our Multi Step Cleaning Process

Pre-Inspection

Before the carpet cleaning begins, we visually inspect the carpet, taking note of the type of carpet fiber and troubled areas.

Thorough Vacuuming

Before adding any moisture to the carpet, we will thoroughly vacuum the entire carpeted area to remove as much embedded dirt as possible. Our vacuum features an industrial-grade HEPA filtration system, that can eliminate up to 80% of dry soil.

Pre-Treat

We will pre-treat the carpet after vacuuming with a safe, effective carpet detergent that loosens dirt and dissolves oils. It’s the same concept as soaking your dishes before washing them – if there are tougher spots to clean, this pre-treating process will make them easier and ensure every trouble spot is taken care of.

Agitate The Carpet Fiber

Depending on the type of pile and the conditions of the carpet, different scrub brushes are used.  The scrubbing action works the pre-spray solution deep within the fibers while puling out embedded hair or fur.  Don’t worry, we use a fresh brush after every job we do.

Steam Clean (Hot Water Extraction)

Carpet cleaning is usually referred to “steam cleaning” but a better term is hot water extraction.  Our powerful truck-mounted machine produces pressured hot “steaming” water, which rinses away the detergent while extracting excess water and soil.  This leaves your carpets clean, fresh and residue free. 

Drying

In order to speed up the drying process, once we are finished cleaning, we will place an industrial air mover into the carpeted area, which will allow the carpet to dry fully within 3-5 hours.

One Final Pass

Before we leave we’ll go over it once more with our carpet groomer, just to ensure everything has been lifted away. If, during this time, any stains or spots are still noticeable, we’ll take care of them.
