Lint debris will make it through the lint trap and start to collect along the walls of the ducting. Over time your dryer will work harder and become less efficient. How to clean a dyer vent
The best way, in our opinion, to clean a dryer vent is to pull the dyer out, disconnect the ducting and use our air tools (the ones used with our air duct cleaning). This blasts away the debris that is caked along the walls of the ducting. A vacuum itself is not enough to thoroughly clean the entire ducting from the dryer to where it vents outside. Sometimes the ducting is so compacted, the dryer itself burns out.
